South Platte Trail

South Platte Trail

Community Newsletter Project Announcement

The South Platte Working Group, in partnership with Cities of Englewood, Littleton, and Sheridan, South Suburban Park and Recreation District and Arapahoe County, recently kicked off the South Platte Connections Study to look at ways to improve bicycle and pedestrian connections to the South Platte River/Mary Carter Greenway Trail. The study will focus on seven locations where access to the South Platte is difficult today, including:

  • Dartmouth
  • Hampden
  • Oxford
  • Federal
  • Belleview
  • Bowles
  • Mineral

The project team wants to learn from you – the community – about your local needs and vision for accessing the South Platte. You can provide input through an online survey, by visiting with project team members at on-trail events, or by leaving comments on the project website.
