Board hears and decides appeals of any zoning order, requirement, decision or determination made by any administrative official of any development-related ordinance. It may also grant variances.
The goal of this committee comprised of community leaders is to develop a coordinated response to identified community needs.
The City will be putting together a committee for this program. The committee will consist of a resident from each ward of the city, two council members, two city employees, two business people, and two construction or development people.

"Sheridan Celebrates" is a community parade and festival held each year, generally on the fourth Saturday of September.
Activities include a pancake breakfast, a parade through the City, and a festival held on the lawn of City Hall, 4101 S. Federal Boulevard, from 11 am-3 pm. A large variety of family-friendly food and entertainment are offered throughout the afternoon. The activities are coordinated by the "Sheridan Celebrates Committee" sponsored by the City Council and are coordinated with the South Suburban Park and Recreation District, the Sheridan School District and the Arapahoe Library District.
