Application Process
Steps to Employment
Please read a copy of the job announcement. The announcement will list the essential job functions. Additional information on the position will include requirements, qualifications, and the preferred qualifications. If there is a closing date, it will be listed on the job announcement. Applications are accepted for current job postings only.

The application needs to be complete and accurate. If the application form is not complete, you may be disqualified from further consideration. Do not put "refer to resume" on the application form. All information requested on the application needs to be completed on the application. The application must also be signed. If you are called in for an interview, you will be required to sign an authorization for a background investigation. You may also be required to authorize and complete a drug test for certain positions.
All applications are reviewed after the posted closing date. When no closing date is listed, the applications are reviewed as they are received. This is the case when the closing date is marked as "accepting applications until position is filled" or "when filled."
Candidates are selected for interviews on the basis of the information provided on their application form and resume, if a resume was submitted. Interview times will be arranged. Candidates will also be notified as to the dates, times, and location of any required testing. Testing may precede interviews. All applicants not selected for the position will be notified when the position has been filled.
