carriage 1

Sheridan Celebrates Medieval Magic will transport you back to the golden, olden days when transportation was not fueled by gasoline or electricity, but rather by real horse power! On Saturday, September 30, you, your friends and family will experience the unique enjoyment that can only be felt on a horse-drawn carriage ride. FREE carriage rides will be provided from 12 -2 PM in the parking area west of the Early Childhood Center at 4100 South Hazel Court. Climb aboard the Pic-Nic Wagonette pulled by a matched pair of formidable and beautiful Percheron steeds. Young children must be accompanied by a responsible guardian twelve years or older.

For the foot-tappin’, booty-shakin’ music lover, Sheridan Celebrates Medieval Magic will present Phat Daddy in concert from 12-3 PM on the main stage on the lovely lawn of Sheridan City Hall, 4101 S. Federal Blvd. Phat Daddy is a high energy band consisting of some of Denver’s top nightclub and showroom performers. Drawing upon the unique flexibility of its five members, this group boasts the ability to provide outstanding entertainment for every musical taste. Phat Daddy performs tunes from many genres including rock, pop, R&B and hip hop. Their song list spans the years from the 1960s through contemporary hits. Phat Daddy electrifies audiences with invigorating dance sets, beautiful ballads and captivating cover songs.

Other crowd entertainment favorites will return in 2023. Youngsters can burn off some energy and experience lively amusement in the Mega Manor Jumping Castle. Older youth will fight to good fight in the Medieval Mayhem obstacle course. Face painting services will be available for purchase.
