Sheridan residents can drop off up to 10 gallons of cooking and automotive oil per household on Saturday, November 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2900 South Platte River Drive, Englewood, CO 80110. This event is sponsored by South Platte Renew, the 3rd largest water renewal facility in Colorado that cleans nearly 20 million gallons of wastewater a day from 300,000 residents in Littleton, Englewood and 19 other connecting communities.
Guidelines:
Oil must be separated into different containers and be free of contaminants. Cooking oil should be liquid and free of food debris. Please bring grease and oil in disposable containers.
Food Drive:
Canned and non-perishable food item donations during the event for South Platte Renew's annual food drive will also be accepted.
