Sheridan's Curbside Yard Waste Cleanup and Drop-Off Recycling event kicks off May 26 through June 2.
Curbside Leaf and Yard Waste Cleanup
Yard waste collection days are May 26 and June 2, 2021. The City of Sheridan and Republic Services® will be collecting bags of leaves along with bundles of brush/branches on your normal trash collection days listed above. We will NOT be limiting your trash volume to cart contents these two weeks only. Please make sure all yard waste and leaves are in bags. All branches and brush must be cut into 4’ lengths and bundled in order to be removed. This service is included with the City of Sheridan solid waste program. No additional charges apply.
Bulk Drop-Off Event/Electronic Recycling Drop-Off
Saturday, June 5, 2021 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Sheridan Middle School overflow parking lot is located west of the school at 4200 S. Hazel Ct. City of Sheridan residents can bring all acceptable household waste and bulk items (couches, chairs, furniture, carpet rolls, etc.) to the roll-off drop-off site. Items we cannot accept at the roll off drop-off site include dirt, fertilizers, chemicals, paints/stains, refrigerators, freezers, AC units, any appliance with Freon®, any equipment containing fuel or oils, needles, syringes, tires, batteries of any type or vehicle fluids. Electronics will be collected and recycled during this Saturday event. No additional charges apply.
To comply with social distancing, after checking in at the drop-off, residents must unload their own vehicles without volunteer help. Roll-offs will be spaced apart to enable residents to maintain safe distancing. Masks or face coverings are required while outside your vehicles.
