The City of Sheridan’s Planning and Zoning Department has received a request for a neighborhood meeting regarding a proposed rezoning at 3851 S. King St (the former Sheridan Hill Boarding Home).

Due to COVID-19 the meeting will be held virtually. A link to the virtual meeting will be posted on the City’s website https://www.ci.sheridan.co.us/ no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting. Please scroll to the event calendar at the bottom of the homepage. There will also be a call-in option if you do not have internet access:

Meeting ID: 990 1087 6161

Call-in Number: 346-248-7799

Please contact the City of Sheridan with any requests for accommodations at this meeting (contact information below) no later than Thursday, February 11th. Interpretation is available upon request/Hay interpretación disponible a previa solicitud.

This property is currently zoned RES-SF (Single-Family Residential), and the applicant is interested in rezoning the property to a Residential Planned Unit Development (PUD-RES) to allow for the development of seven units. The existing building will be preserved and converted into four units. Three townhome units will be constructed to the west of the existing building.

Prior to the submission of a formal application, the applicant is required to conduct a neighborhood meeting and invite all residents and property owners within 300 feet of the property.

If a formal application is submitted to the City after this neighborhood meeting, there will be public hearings at both Planning Commission and City Council. You will also receive notice of these hearings.

If you are unable to attend the neighborhood meeting on February 17th, but have questions or comments regarding the proposed rezoning, please reach out to the Sheridan Planning Department:
