The Sheridan Municipal Court is back in Session. For the health and safety of all Court Staff and Defendants, the Court will strictly enforce the following preventative measures:a. Entry into the Courthouse will be through the west entrance off the parking lot and exit downstairs through east entrance or west entrance after scheduling classes/community service.
b. No more than fifteen(15) defendants shall be allowed in the Courthouse at one time. This does not include court staff.
c. Face masks or coverings are required to be worn at all times while in the Courthouse.
d. Social distancing of 6 feet apart is required.
e. The named-defendant only will be allowed into the Courthouse. No family members or children may accompany the named-defendant into the Courthouse.
f. If the named-defendant is a minor, then one (1) parent or legal guardian shall accompany the defendant.
g. If named-defendant has legal counsel, they may appear with the defendant.
h. Written rights advisements will be given to you prior to your pre-trial meeting with the prosecuting attorney. Review the rights advisement and keep that rights advisement with you.
i. If you reach a plea disposition, be prepared to provide your current contact information to Court staff including your phone number, email address and mailing address.
