The Records Bureau receives, reviews, and files reports prepared by members of the Police Department. They are also responsible for reviewing reports for administrative purposes. This includes the submission of reporting information for the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS).
Additional division responsibilities include releasing certain reports and filing, controlling, maintaining, and retrieving records.
